Gadget Options

Once you've selected your basic layout, you can add different elements to it. Blogger calls these add-ons "Gadgets." When you click on the "Page Elements" subheading under the "Design" tab, you'll be able to add these gadgets to your site by clicking the "Add a Gadget" link. This link appears above different sections of your layout, such as at the top of each sidebar, the footer and the central column. Gadget options include pictures, HTML/JavaScript boxes, links to other blogs and blog stats.
